<font color="#FFFFFF" size="2" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Originally this was personal work that traditionally was considered a manifestation tool called treasure maps which use the symbols of the heart and mind which are translated into a visual Journal. Friends encouraged me to begin to make interpersonal ones that could be enjoyed by all. Usually a piece starts with one or two images that are compelling to me and the piece grows from there. It’s like the images wish to present concepts that are larger then themselves, which transcend normal physical limitations. Because of the use of photographs, the minds eye understands it is looking at reality, but because of the composition one is put into an altered or dreamlike state. Fun! Before I recycle my magazines, I go through and remove the images that call to me. This is termed photo sampling and legal. My work continues to evolve and now is digitally reproduced into Giclee Archival prints available in various sizes, which will last longer than the originals. My newest format is tabletops. I do private consultations to assist individuals who wish to create their own collage, but feel challenged. I also do commissions. </font>
