It’s like the images wish to present concepts that are larger than themselves, which transcend normal physical limitations. Because of the use of photographs, the minds eye understands it is looking at reality, but because of the composition one is put into an altered or dreamlike state. Fun!
Before I recycle my magazines, I go through and remove the images that call to me. This is termed photo sampling and legal. My work continues to evolve and now is digitally reproduced into Giclee Archival prints available in various sizes, which will last longer than the originals. My newest format is tabletops. I do private consultations to assist individuals who wish to create their own collage, but feel challenged. I also do commissions.
